Tutorial Rockbox Ibasso DX90

Langkah - Langkah Rockbox :

1. Download Firmware untuk dualboot mango-RB disini

(Firmware yang digunakan Lurker ver 2.5.1 + L3)

2. Download Firmware Rockbox nya disini

3. Unpack hasil download nya tadi , maka akan terdapat 2 folder yaitu “update.img” dan
“.rockbox”

4. Pastikan Mode USB di DX90 terseleksi ke mode “Storage” [Posisi DX90 ON]

5. Hubungkan DX90 melalui kabel usb ke PC/Laptop , Harap diperhatikan bahwa DX90 sudah terdeteksi di PC/Laptop dengan tanda terdapat drive baru yg bernama “dx90” (jika belum pernah diubah namanya) di my computer

6. Copy kan folder “.rockbox” dan “update.img” tadi ke drive “dx90” (Paste kan saja di root folder atau di luar jangan di masukkan lagi dalam folder baru)

7. Diskonekkan DX90 anda dari PC/Laptop , jangan asal cabut kabel usb tapi pastikan sudah di “safely remove hardware”

8. Pada DX90 , pilih ke Settings >> Advanced >> System Update >> pilih OK

9. Tunggulah proses update hingga selesai , DX90 akan otomatis reboot

10. Setelah reboot akan muncul menu pilihan mau boot kemana “Mango” (stock firmware) atau ke “Rockbox”

11. Pilihlah ke “Mango” dulu , pilih Settings >> Advanced >> Factory Reset dan OK . Ini untuk membersihkan /data /cache di sistem file nya untuk meghindari bentrok sistem

12. Hubungkan DX90 ke usb colokkan ke PC/Laptop , buka drive “dx90” nya hapuslah “update.img” yang ada di dalam drive.

Selamat sekarang DX90 anda sudah terinstall firmware mod dan Rockbox
Untuk bisa memilih booting ke rockbox atau mango caranya adalah :
1. Matikan DX90 anda seperti biasa
2. Posisikan tombol “HOLD” sebelah kiri ke posisi “ON” atau posisi diatas
3. Hidupkan DX90 anda , kemudian pilihlah mau boot kemana
4. Turunkan tombol “HOLD” ke posisi semula / “OFF”

Untuk Mengupdate versi rockbox anda dengan yang terbaru caranya :

1.      Download dan unpack Rockbox nya hingga terdapat folder “.rockbox”

2.     Copy folder tadi ke DX90 internal storage drive. Akan muncul notifikasi copy , pilihlah overwrite files nya

3.     Diskonek USB, matikan DX90 dan hidupkan kembali.

Theme Installation How-To (Courtesy of Cholero)

1. Download any Theme you like from the official Rockbox page as a packed zip:

2. Connect your player to the computer and open the internal memory (usual name: DX50). There should be a folder "rockbox", open it
3. Open the downloaded theme zip file. In the zip file there is a folder named ".rockbox" (yes, with a dot)
4. Open the ".rockbox" folder in your theme-zip and extract all the content to your "rockbox" folder on your player
you're done, now you can select your new theme in Settings -> Theme Settings -> Browse Theme Files.
